It all starts with a song.
Chip and Laury Roop are lifelong storytellers who believe music isn’t just an experience, it’s a dream that stirs the heart and inspires the soul. Their new, upcoming album, "Two Dreams", produced by Grammy-nominated Gordon Mote and mixed by renowned engineer Ben Fowler, brings this vision to life. The project is a heartfelt blend of genres, weaving vivid emotions with melodies that connect deeply, reminding listeners of the boundless power of music.
One standout track, “Fort Worth Forever,” perfectly illustrates this dreamlike quality. Reflecting on the song, Mote shared, "When I heard the song, Fort Worth Forever, it took me back to the very first time I was in Fort Worth. It was on a Friday night, and I was playing with Lee Greenwood at Billy Bob’s. I remember the excitement, being in the stockyard, all the people, all the smells, all the sounds. I think that when people hear this song, they’re going to see Fort Worth in their minds, especially if they’ve spent any time there, and if they’ve never been to Fort Worth, it’s going to make them want to go. Chip and Laury really hit it out of the park with this song!"
Beyond their music, Chip and Laury are passionate about shaping a brighter future. Through their family foundation, they support youth programs worldwide, empowering young people to dream big and reach their full potential.
More than just an album, "Two Dreams" is an invitation into the Roops’ world, a place where melodies transform into rich, living dreams, leaving a lasting impression on all who listen. For Chip and Laury, every song begins as a simple spark, but it grows into something extraordinary, because it all starts with a song and a dream.
